MGIT Hosts Prestigious One-Day Seminar on AI & ML in Engineering and Science with Renowned Experts

1-day Seminar on “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning in Engineering & Science” held on 13^th March at MGIT.

Faculty from IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad (Profs. Saswata Bhattacharya & Anuja Goyal) & Head Research & Innovation at TCS-Hyderabad, Dr. Ananta Desik gave lectures covering diverse areas.

Prof. Saswata Bhattacharya spoke on “Applications of physics Informed neural networks in materials design.” Dr Ananta Desik spoke on AI/ML applied to industrial problems. Prof. Anuj Goyal spoke on “A computational framework to accelerate defect energy prediction and materials discovery for clean energy applications.”

Prof. Rohit Batra (IITM) gave a hands-on seminar on Machine Learning during which he shared a ML code and asked the audience to implement it. The speakers had a useful discussion with participants.
